Information: Tabasco chillies are one of the most common varieties of chili peppers in the world. Tabasco chili peppers typically grow upwards on a very tall slender plant and are harvested when the peppers are 3-4cm long and dark red in color.
Measuring over 100,000 on the Scoville scale, Tabasco chilies originate from African countries and are best known for their use in sauces such as Piri-Piri and Tobasco.
Germination & Care: Germination temperature is between 22°C and 28°C (germination period: 8-21 days). Plants should be placed in a sunny, protected place with a minimum of 6 hours direct sunlight per day. Move plants outdoors only when temperatures consistently stay above 12°C.
