Information: Habanero Chocolate chilies are a variety of very hot peppers which grow on medium sized bushes and produce an abundant amount of short, thick chili peppers. They are harvested throughout the summer, when the peppers turn from green to a dark brown.
Measuring between 450,000 and 550,000 on the Scoville scale. Habanero Chocolate chilies are the hottest in the Habanero family and are known for their earthy, smokey flavour and are commonly used in Jamaican jerk seasoning.
Germination & Care: Germination temperature is between 22°C and 28°C (germination period: 10-20 days). Plants should be placed in a sunny, protected place with a minimum of 6 hours direct sunlight per day. Move plants outdoors only when temperatures consistently stay above 12°C.
