Information: The Birds Eye chili pepper is one of the most common varieties of chilies in the world, Birds Eye chilies typically grow upwards on a very tall thin plant and are harvested when the chilies measure 3-4cm in length and are a dark red colour.
Measuring 100,000 on the Scoville Scale, Birds Eye Chilies are native to african countries and are best known for their use in Portuguese Piri-Piri and Tobasco sauces.
Germination & Care: Germination temperature is between 22°C and 28°C (germination period: 8-21 days). Plants should be placed in a sunny, protected place with a minimum of 6 hours direct sunlight per day. Move plants outdoors only when temperatures consistently stay above 12°C.
